And if you're eager to add an amp and/or subs, you have 4-volt preamp outputs for the front, rear, and sub, plus independent sub controls. High- and-low pass crossovers, time correction, and a 15-band graphic EQ round out this receiver's audio tweaks.

Plenty of connections, including HDMI

This receiver offers two rear USB ports, one of which connects to your phone for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The other USB port can play music and video files from your thumb drive or charge your devices while you drive. An A/V input lets you add a DVD or CD player if you're still into discs. You also get an A/V output for connecting additional monitors. And a rear digital optical output offers convenient hookup to a number of optional advanced digital signal processors so you can really dial in your music.
